Server Log Files

Lottery Number Checking

When you use our lottery number checking function, the entered numbers are transmitted to our server to compare them with historical draw data. These numbers are not stored and are not linked to your person. Processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (contract fulfillment) or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in providing the service).

Cookies and Browser Storage

Without your consent, we only store on your device what the website needs to work:

• The cookie "locale-choice" with the language (German or English) you picked yourself in the language menu or the language suggestion, so we don't then redirect you to another language version automatically. It is only set when you switch language this way and lasts 1 year.
• In your browser's local storage: your choice in the cookie banner with its date, the colour scheme you picked and the lottery you last selected. In session storage: whether you closed the language suggestion.

The local and session storage entries never leave your browser, and you can delete them at any time in your browser settings. The legal basis is Section 25 para. 2 no. 2 TDDDG and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in a working website). Analytics cookies are only set with your consent (see section 5).

Google Analytics

If you consent, this website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google Analytics records how the website is used: pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, clicks on links to other websites, use of the number checker (such as which lottery was chosen and whether a win was found), device type, browser, operating system, approximate location (country, region, city) and the website you came from.

IP addresses: Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Data from visitors in the EU is collected through servers in the EU; the IP address is used there only to derive the approximate location and is then discarded.

Cookies and retention: Google Analytics sets the cookies "_ga" and "_ga_<ID>", which hold a random identifier and expire after 2 years. Google Analytics deletes the data linked to that identifier automatically after 14 months. Google signals and ads personalization are turned off, and the data is not used for advertising.

Transfer to the USA: Google may transfer data to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the transfer relies on the European Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google (Google Ads Data Processing Terms).

The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and Section 25 para. 1 TDDDG. Google Analytics is only loaded after you choose "Accept" in the cookie banner.

Withdrawal: you can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. Click "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page and choose "Decline". Google Analytics is then no longer loaded and its cookies are deleted. More on how Google handles data: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Vercel Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to analyze website usage and Vercel Speed Insights to measure how fast our pages load. Neither service uses cookies or stores personal data. Processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in improving our website).
